Club Information

Our venue at Cheadle Hulme Sports Centre, Woods Lane provides showers and ample car parking. Club night is every Thursday, 8-10 pm on 6 courts.

We are a friendly and sociable badminton club with the opportunity to play badminton competitively but not in a league. Experienced junior players welcome.

Broadway Badminton Club was formed from a number of long-term members of a former Broadway Badminton Club, Matchpoint Badminton Club, Oaktree Badminton Club and Wilmslow Badminton Club. Over the last thirty years or more, members have moved away but have been replaced by others who have introduced fresh blood and therefore revitalised Broadway to the present club that we now know.

Our membership fee is currently £18 per month payable by bank Standing Order and we have a visitor’s fee of £5.00 per club night. A visitor may only attend up to 3 times on this basis before a decision is made by the Committee who will offer or decline an invitation to join the club. Junior fees are also available. All fees are reviewed annually. An Associate Membership can also be made available for those players who wish to attend after their first 3 visits on an Ad Hoc basis.

We also organise social events on an ad hoc basis.

If you are interested please contact us by emailing or calling to come down any Thursday night. (See contact details)
